Explaining: The Love Ethic

Content inspired by the writing, “All About Love” by bell hooks. This video  focuses specifically on her chapter titled, The Love Ethic. 

The color palette and image treatments reflect an inviting and gentle tone. This project was only my third time animating and concepting a full video on my own. Through this process, I refined my understanding of easing and how to manipulate and apply textures in After Effects. I also began exploring the possibilities Photoshop has for style framing and storyboarding.
